Break has been kind of sucky! (Yes, I will soon be culling that word from my vocabulary being as it isn't very professional. . . ) Originally I was planning on visiting my sister and bro-in-law and nephew, but Financial Aid was much smaller than anticipated and I couldn't afford to go. :( So, I was going to work on homework, which is kind of lame sounding, but I was going to work on semester-long projects and get them done so they're not hanging over my head. But, as they say, the best of plans. . . I had a toothache and managed to get into the dentist on Monday, and he ended up pulling my tooth. So I have spent most of the week quietly watching movies and sleeping and on a liquid diet - no straws! :(
I managed to get some homework done, including some for geology, in which I watched this Nova Special on the 1993 Flood.
It is interesting, but now I know that my sisters are living in the flood plain...
My mouth still hurts. I'm off to do some Comp II assignments. . . woohoo - political blah blah blah. :(
