Happy (Belated) Turkey Day!

I can't believe December is 3 days away! This year practically flew by!

There was a Facebook Meme this November to post something that you are Thankful for each day in November.

Here is most of my list (in reverse order) for some reason facebook is being poopy and I am having a rough time accessing the first week of November:

•  I am thankful for every youth and child I have had the pleasure of working/spending time with this year.
•  I am Thankful for New Shoes!
•  I am Thankful for getting to spend the day at The Henry Ford.
•  I am Thankful for Anne McCaffrey's Dragon Rider Books! My favorite is the collection of short stories: The Gift of Dragons. RIP Anne McCaffrey.
•  I am THANKFUL that I am done with school until next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• Yesterday I was Thankful for children who went to bed on time. Today I am thankful that their mom is home (even though I love them to bits and they were wonderful!)
• I am Thankful for my eyes and ears, even when the performer is flat
• I am thankful for pizza and cupcakes during Interpersonal Communication.
• Yesterday I was Thankful for homemade chicken noodle soup. Today I am Thankful for dry socks and cozy blankets shared with puppy dogs.       
• I am Thankful for my mom helping me be crafty!
• Today I am Thankful for all the men and women who are serving our have served in our armed forces. Especially My Cousins: Ben  (U.S. Marines currently serving in Afghanistan) Joe (Veteran Marine); My Friends: Brittani (U.S. Navy currently serving in Japan), Kristen (Veteran Army), Angie (Veteran Army), Kyle (currently Army as far as I know - we went to elementary together and lost touch a few years ago), Big Damn John (Canadian Army), Justin (Army), James (Army), Ayecee (current Air Force), Steve (Veteran Army); My Aunt Beth and her husband Uncle Charles (both Retired Army); My Uncles Bruce & Tim (Navy, Army); and Both of My Grandfathers: Zaydee who served in the Army Air Corps and Grandpa who was a Timberwolf (both during WWII)
• Okay, I'm actually Thankful today for Babies! My sister, Sarah announced she is due in May and my friends Lauren and Adam's twin baby girls were born today!!!! (November 10)
• I am so Thankful that I am not short. I'm not being mean. I really mean it, I can reach so many things without any effort or thought, that other people have to get step stools to reach.
• I am thankful that I am done with my schedule for Winter 2012. Even if I am crazy for taking 16 credits, but I will be done with my Associates!!!!!!
• I am Thankful for Pizza for dinner and Pumpkin Roll for dessert!
• I am Thankful for Mr. Hyatt - my awesome Math Teacher!

 I am reading Brave Story by Miyuki Miyabe for my Lit class. After spending most of yesterday and today reading I am on page 353/816! Part 1 was thirteen chapters long and full of Tolkien-esque descriptions! Instead of a traditional report/review/written interpretation, I'll be doing several mixed-media works of art that go along with the book and an in-class presentation. I've sketched out four vague pictures so far.
