My 30th Birthday is September 9, 2012. A few people have asked me what I want, so here is my list (if I come up with anything else, I will add it in a different color font)

What I really, really want is a really, really, really nice digital 35mm camera. Canon, Fuji, Sony, Nikon, I’m not picky. Just nice.

Single Sentements
This is a poem. I wrote it. It is also full of truth.
Some days I am reallyjealous wishful envious.
Some days I am really sick of being Single.
Some days I really wish I had my own children, now, already.
I am almost 30.
Most of my friends from high school are married or in a committed relationship, and have been for awhile now.
Most of those people have at least one child.
Most of those people are not living with their parents.
I am not even dating anyone.
In Health class, in high school, we had to predict what we would be doing in ten years.
In my project, I would be married, drive a Model T, own a log cabin, have two dogs, work as a teacher and have at least 3 kids.
In my prediction, I also won Disney's Teacher of the year, and got to go to DisneyLand with my class.
I have a cat, almost an Associate's degree, my cars have all died, I live with my parents and I have never been to DisneyLand (or World).
Sometimes, it is hard to remember that God is writing my love story.
Sometimes, I wonder if, maybe, it is my future husband who isn't ready for me.
Sometimes, I am grateful that I am single and do not have many responsibilities.
I have collected many experiences and lessons and ideas and truths. Perhaps, I have a few more things to learn.

Summer Sojourn
Last Friday evening, we (Mom, Dad, one of my sisters and I) piled into a rental car (Truly - the trunk was full of luggage, gifts and plants; and we had bags at our feet and more gifts on the ledge behind our heads! I wish I'd thought to take a photo! We didn't even bring everything we had originally planned!) Anyway, we piled into the car and headed to North Dakota. The official reason for the trip was to attend the Baptism of Mbaby, but the trip was also a good excuse to see my other two sisters and Jtot and my bro-in-law and his parents. :)
We drove down through Indiana, across through Chicago, and up through Wisconsin and Minnesota to North Dakota. The trip was over 20 hours, thanks to stop ad stop construction traffic through most of the journey - we drove straight through and arrived at our Hotel around 1:30pm.
The Hotel had an indoor mini-golf course and a pool with a waterfall (we didn't have time for either and I was the only person to remember my suit anyway!)
My youngest sister, Twerp, stayed in the hotel with us because her husband was unable to join her on the trip. Since she was driving alone for 10+ hours, she brought along her dog, Daisy, who also stayed in the hotel with us (yay for Dog-friendly hotels!)
I didn't take any photos (with my phone) during the actual Baptism, because I was taking them with my sister's iPhone! But, I took this photo of Mbaby right before his Baptism!

We (Dad, Emo and I) left Mom in ND, and drove home Monday (We left super-early). We decided to see if driving straight across Minnesota, Wisconsin and the U.P. was a better trip. The following are photos from the drive home --which took two hours less than the trip to ND. Oh, and it was gorgeous!

I heard back from WCC and I can take Physics at EMU and send my transcript back to WCC and refill out graduation forms and get my Associate's in December!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Start of Summer
So, I discovered that I still need 1 class to get my Associate's Degree. Yeah, it is kind of poopy.:(
I've kind of been in denial and marathoning Grey's Anatomy on Netflix.
I think I might finally have my first semester of EMU ironed out, unless WCC wants me to take that last class through them, unless I decide to just not get my Associate's and just stay a transferring Junior at EMU.
In other news, I AM AN AUNT AGAIN!!!!
He was born May 23, 2012 @12:34pm. He was 7lbs 11.8oz 20"long.
I haven't gotten to meet my new nephew in person yet (later in June I will!) but here is a photo from my sister and bro-in-law's blog of my two nephews! (I don't refer to kids on the internets by their real names, so for now, my nephews are Jtot and Mbaby)
